I integrate technologies into solutions for financial and information services. I have been doing this since 1966 when I was recruited by Ross Perot to join EDS in Topeka, Kansas. I had the chance to help automate portions of the New York Stock Exchange computer systems, the Cleveland, Ohio Police Departments Information Services Systems, Kimberly Clark forest inventory management systems, and then the American Express Communications Systems.
In 1979 I began focusing on credit card and banking systems and developed a credit card processing system for the airlines throughout the United States and implemented it in 1981 with 12 major carriers. From 1983 through 1988 I developed new credit and debit card devices for the banking industries and became a support team for several of the large California banks. In 1990 I began to build a satellite communication link from San Diego throughout Mexico for the hospitality industry for providing financial and advertising services to hotels and airlines. In 2000 a new imaging technology was developed to process credit and check processing including Check 21 for the banking community and my efforts have been in that arena through 2004.
Incumbent on sophisticated processing systems has been the development of educational materials in a bilingual format for users and consumers. Since 1987 and until recently success has been limited by technology. Today I have been working on the development of a multimedia engine for kiosk and internet services to allow for multi-lingual services to be made available to end point kiosks and end points with wireless to hand held tablets for retail, emergency rooms and educational locations. Expanding that technology base we recently began to work with an advertising firm representing ABC television network to build and deploy a Spanish advertising service in text and video to help the Spanish community to have better knowledge of products and services available to them.
From 1983 till today I have become a facilitator. I utilize technology companies to create solutions for retail and information services. Industries and market volumes vary from a single emergency room patient trying to communicate in Vietnamese, to the processing of two million check transactions a day. I work with hardware builders and participate with software sources to achieve project objectives. Recently I have been working with Fujitsu electronics on private labeling a number of their new products for my applications. Primarily they are in the medical information services and in bi-lingual and multi- lingual services for doctor’s offices and other public related locations.
